Watch Dane Richards, who joins Burnley in the new year, scoring for Vancouver Whitecaps earlier this week.
Winger Richards got the second in a 4-0 win over Chivas USA to put his side fifth in the MLS Western Conference on Wednesday night.
The Jamaican got his fourth of the season just 15 minutes after coming on as a first-half substitute for the injured Kenny Miller. His pace caused real problems for the Chivas back line and he had forced a fine save from ‘keeper Dan Kennedy before the goal.
He shows great determination to win the ball on the right wing before playing a clever one-two with Camillo Sanvezzo and sprinting towards goal, evading challenges with clever footwork and striking well from a tight angle
He looks an interesting player and we’re looking forward to seeing him pull on that Claret shirt. We will keep our eyes peeled for more updates from his final months across the Atlantic.
Does he look like the sort of player we need? Comment below.
"Good signing, not sure who we could have hoped for that would be better. "
