Vote for your August Player of the Month

Player of the Month by August 30, 2012 with 3 comments

The No Nay Never Player of the Month award is back for the new season for you to chose the Clarets’ star player over the past month.

We’ve played five games this month, winning three and losing two. First up, goals from Chris McCann, Charlie Austin and Dean Marney saw off Port Vale in the Capital One Cup.

Next up was the big one – Bolton at the Turf. Martin Paterson and Charlie Austin both struck to send Burnley to the top of the Championship and Owen Coyle down to the bottom.

That was followed up by consecutive away defeats to Boro – despite goals from Austin and Junior Stanislas – and Huddersfield, before Charlie was on target again as we beat Plymouth – just – on penalties on Tuesday night.

Now it’s time for you to decide who our best player was through those opening five games. You can nominate your choice by any of these options….
